Whilst running Incredoman illustration Agency, James and his business partners had superhero costumes designed and made to measure. They would visit clients as "Incredoman"  and this vision, although unusual, certainly made the Incredoman team memorable. James wanted then to have their own version of a batmobile and so he found an old racing car which he ripped apart and started work on his new project.

He designed the entire bodywork to fit around an Ultima chassis and naively thought this would be quite simple. After a couple of weeks the first attempt was so awful it had to be scrapped. Using the knowledge they had gained from 'phase 1' they went on to re-design switches, hinges coming up with ground breaking innovative ideas such as revolving LED headlights and the active break aerofoil rear wing which is still, as yet, the biggest rear diffuser on a car.

The Incredomobile has been a labour of love and a very expensive learning curve but as James says, he has gained a lot of knowledge and made good friends along the way. This is an ongoing project and the thought of one day driving his finished Incredomobile through France makes him a very happy man...
