Anthony Dobson

Anthony turned down the opportunity to study Graphic Design at college due to being too busy with painting commissions. Working predominantly in oils, Anthony portrays the realism of his subjects but with a good dose of expression in his use of textural layering of paint and loose approach to background representations.

One half of Collier Dobson Fine Art Publishing, Anthony has been involved in the business side of the art industry as a printer, publisher and framer for several years. A highly regarded publisher who print the limited editions of some of our favourite artists here at Vermilion, we are happy to display Anthony Dobson's own artwork here too.
