Italian artist Antonio Iannicelli was born in Naples in 1952 and now lives and works in Castelvorturno, a little further to the north.

As a boy he showed great artistic talent which he developed by taking his surroundings, the sea and the people of Naples, as his inspiration. Often painting beautiful coastal vistas around Italy, particularly the Amalfi coast, Antonio explores viewpoints looking to find a more unusual aspect to paint. There is Impressionist influence but with a hyper-real element, his paintings draw you in to each scene due to his ability to capture the vibrancy, mood and atmosphere of a place.

Capturing the richness of colour and warmth of each scene, as a viewer you become completely immersed in the picture.
