Icon Collection

James wanted to create a collection of work based on pop culture portraiture with colour and energy at the forefront. Seeing that a lot of what was out there in galleries was either black and white, photo-realist, or digital imagery combined with urban graffiti, James took the decision to paint a series of icons with a vibrant, expressive, textured approach and incorporating text, either quotes or album titles etc.

These originals were created to a large scale and a series of signed limited edition Giclée prints on canvas board in two sizes were subsequently produced.
