Miguel Nunez

A Spanish based artist who was born in Uruguay in 1966, Miguel Nunez creates exquisite contemporary still-life oil paintings in a hyper-realistic style.

The renowned artist, who also took the position of professor at the Municipal School of Visual Arts in Madrid, takes inspiration from the light, shadows and reflections that are cast upon the surfaces of objects. Choosing to explore a range of perspectives to capture a multitude of compositions and the nuances of the interplay of light, Miguel’s finished paintings are fresh, sharp and intensely accurate.
