Mr Malcontent

A contemporary artist from the north of England, Mr Malcontent maintains an air of mystery by preferring to remain anonymous through the use of a pseudonym and shying away from exhibitions and events. Collage and mixed-media is his chosen style and he creates diverse artwork using these collage-based materials and processes.

His latest series of black and white paintings are monochrome cityscapes painted onto old vintage newspapers. The artist incorporates other mixed-media techniques including collagraph printmaking to achieve a range of textures and patterns across the surface of the painting.
