Paitoon Jumee

Paitoon Jumee is an award-winning contemporary portrait artist from Bangkok and enjoys creating artwork that evokes a multitude of thoughts and contemplations, allowing the viewer to lose themselves and form their own interpretations of each piece.

A Thai artist who is continually gaining admiration on the International art scene, Paitoon has a distinct style which combines controlled brushwork and symmetrical composition with several layers of painting techniques such as repeated mark-making to form patterned overlays and textural depth.

Born in 1978, Thai artist Paitoon Jumee studied at Thai Vijitsil Art School before graduating from Thaï Pochang University in 1998. His studies allowed him to train in many different disciplines, including sculpture, xylography, and lithography, before starting his journey as a painter.

Paitoon specialises in large-scale impactful paintings that work perfectly as a statement piece in any spacious interior.
