Rozanne Bell

Rozanne Bell was born in Zimbabwe in 1962 where she lived for 40 years before moving to Dorset in the UK. She exhibited her work all over Southern Africa and through tourism gained admiration and collectors from people across the globe.

In 2002, the political climate in Zimbabwe necessitated Rozanne’s move to England. The ability to adapt to a new environment coupled with her determination to succeed has motivated Rozanne to develop her style of art which is playful, colouful and quirky.

Inspired by busy coastal scenes, the rural landscape and wildflower meadows, Rozanne applies textural palette-knifework and finishes her paintings with a coat of resin which adds to the vibrancy of her work. Having had no formal art schooling, Rozanne cultivated her natural flair and talent and is one of the most successful and prolific artists in the UK; she lives and breathes the creative process.
