James was part way through working on this painting in the gallery for his northern industrial series when a client came in, fell in love with it and asked if it could be adapted and personalised for him to subsequently buy.
Initially the car was going to be an E-Type Jaguar but the client asked if it could be a Jenson Interceptor - James couldn't believe it and realised that this was meant to be as it was actually his own personal favourite car at the time! The painting is full of energy with an extraordinary level of detail.
