We are very excited to announce a ‘meet the artist’ exhibition for the beginning of November with the much admired wildlife and animal artist Nicky Litchfield!
Nicky’s endearing limited edition prints have been a favourite here at the gallery for some time. Having also introduced Nicky’s original paintings to our gallery in recent months, we decided to invite her over to Knutsford to give our collectors the opportunity to meet her, view some beautiful new paintings and also watch her create one of those wonderful animal portraits at the easel!
Since winning ‘Artist of the Year’ in the Society of All Artists Award back in 2008, Nicky’s art has continued to grow in popularity and can be found in many galleries across the UK. Predominantly working in chalk pastel with gouache, Nicky has the unique ability of capturing the realism of each animal whilst simultaneously projecting its individual character; all of which are charming and irresistible!
